Headrest removal
Im new to the site and looking for a bit of help. I want to remove the headrest in my bird but cant. Im told to use a slim metal like ruler thats bendable but not have any luck finding something like that. Any suggestions on what you guys used in the past. I want to install seat covers.

I have always used a putty knife,............ not perfect - but it seems to be the only thing I can locate when I need to remove a headrest !

a " slim jim " kit has always worked for me . get one at harbor freight , northern tool or some parts stores . had mine for several years , bought it because g/f and other people locking keys in car . works for me .

Thanks guys. I didnt know Harbor freight carryed slim jims. Will take a trip there tomorrow. I will see If I got a putty knife if not its the slim jim then. Any other suggestions.
