Rear seat belt reciever stuck
I am removing my entire interior on my 86 Camaro and I ran into a problem.
The rear seat belt catches are seized on. I was using a large hex tool on my fronts with no problem but the same one almost stripped the back two. I stopped b4 it did strip as I don't have a torx that freakin' big.
Anyone run into this problem? I just cut the rug around it to remove the carpet. But when I do get new carpet I want those out for easier installation.

I usually drench them in PB Blaster and let it soak in for a few hours. Then I come back with a ratchet or breaker bar and put ever increasing pressure on it. Keep the torx bit in, and just slowly increase how much force you are putting on wrench. It can take several minutes, but eventually, they will come loose.

buy a set of torx bits , you will be glad you did . good penatrent , proper tork bit , ball peen hammer , spray underneath , time & patience you'll get it out .
massage bolt head wiyh ball peen , [ don't mess up head ] tap torx bit back into bolt head every once in awhile to keep from deforming .

The size you are looking for is Torx 47 or T-47. Don't use a hex key, allen key, or hex end socket on a torx bolt. You will strip it!
The T47 is hard to find. After breaking several cheapies, I bought an SK socket from Amazon.
