A-pillar
So today was a nice day in florida and i decided to take the tops off and drive around. WHile driving i noticed that i seem to have a gap in my plastic a-pillar piece. Almost like its not screwed down the whole way. I took the one screw off near where the t-tops would fit in and it seems that this plastic a-pillar is glued on? Is this this case? My passenger side doesnt have this gap, the a-pillar fits sung up on there but i can stick my fingers in the gap on the driver side. I Dont want to go pulling it apart without knowing how its held on there so can anyone tell me how its on there? Car is a 91 RS Camaro with t-tops.

Re: A-pillar
There are 2 "clips" (similar to the clips that attach the door panels),that snap the a pillar plastic. Just be real careful, the plastic trim gets brittle and will brake easily. I ended up gluing one of the clips in place on the plastic, and then re-installing it.

Re: A-pillar
are these clips available, or can you modify a door clip? Same problem, getting ready to put the trim back on, see the slots. Plus my weatherstripping is awful...dried out-cracked/brittle. Chased the weatherstrip dog before. Nothing out there, except to order custom.

Re: A-pillar
thanks Kris! On the list of stuff I need.
----------
thanks wheels...I can get there more conveniently than the dealer, although I do need to go there, too. Few odds & ends, plus the IROC decals for the doors. Bolts for the plenum extension/distributor cover, bolts for the door handle.
