Covan Classic

I have bought the Autometer guages to go in the blank Covan Classic cluster. My plan is to run mechanical gauges except for the volts.
How will I be able to hook up the turn signal and the high beams? I bought all my pieces separate instead of the plug and play kit. I wanted mechanical over the electrical.
Thanks
David

Re: Covan Classic

When you take the old cluster out and you cut out the old plugs you'll have to just go through with a test light and figure out what everything does. The turn signal wires are blue and you would just need to wire a light into them, or if you're using LED's you'll need a resistor I believe. Pretty much the same for the high beams test light the open wires with the headlights on with the high beam and figure out which wire it is and run a light source through it.
