Re: good racing seats low price

I would suggest just getting used ones. Lots of guys selling on craigslist, or kijiji. Just type it into google even, or look for local classifieds.

Worst case scenario you will have to buy brackets, or if youre really cheap, figure out where youre comfortable, and weld them in. I dont recommend this however, if you street/strip your car. I like to have my seat UP when im racing, and BACK when im cruising.

Not sure where youre from, but heres a good deal,

I've heard good things about these and they are custom made for the buyer. I don't know what you consider an "arm and a leg" so might as well check them out. People on the boards have them so do a search and you'll find pics.

Go to checker or autozone (I KNOW) and they usually have some really freaking decent seats for 250 for a set (just the pass and driver one). I will be buying those shortly here so I'll post pics up when I do.

Re: good racing seats low price

My problem with ordering seats online is...If I'm gonna spend that kinda money, and hafta ride in them DAILY. I wanna at least SIT in them in a store first.

Or try a local person's seats, to see if I like them, THEN order them.

Don't wanna order "leather wrapped bricks" and be out several hundred dollars!

Re: good racing seats low price

These are nice sport seats. And will BIG TIME AGREE with Stephen....try before you buy...IF POSSIBLE. I have a buddy who decided he might need a wide version seat so purchased them online...got them and realized hey, the wide version is about 3 ft wider than expected (exaggeration of course), but he is a big guy too 6'4" 230lbs 36-38" waist...

Re: good racing seats low price

yea i'm pretty sure the wide version will be too much for me, i'm only about 5 7 and i'm a 32 inch waste if that... just another idea tho too, junk yard the best way to get black 4th gen seats?.. i mean, worst case scenario i won't find some i'm happy with.. what i wanted was black vinyl or leather racing seats up front and some black 4th then seats in back to match..

If you want these seats, just without the name (everything else the same) for $498 for 2 shipped to your door, check out mad racing seats.
