Door panels but you have to modify(bend/cut) the thirdgen inner door skin and you need a 4th gen dash installed. Both front and rear seats bolt in. Visors might bolt in. Kick panel and sill plates can but with a lot of modification. The a-pillars can but they need to be molded to the thirdgen a-pillars. Seats belts are swappable. Steering wheels are swappable. Radios are swappable.

Carpet doesn't, headliner doesn't, other interior plasics in the rear do not. Window motors have different gears on them. Door lock solenoids are completely different.

Yeah but why would you put the powertrain in the interior? Where would you sit?

back seat of course, lol. I just brought it up as he's seen potentially only a little taste, and if he was to find a donor car he might get froggy and swap crazy and just to it all, lol. It was also more of an answer to the title as well as a general answer to extend the first question of the post if he so chose to have interest.

Re: what transferes over from a 4th gen to the 3rd?
swap what? door panels take a little work, dash takes a bit of work as well, center console, 93+ firebird consoles fit well, 98+ camaro consoles fit well (93+ if you do dash as well), rear interior plastics won't fit, front plastics have been made to work either by customizing or having to mold 3rd gen parts with 4th gen parts, and powertrain, all 4th gen parts fit into a 3rd gen, some with a little bit more custom parts than others, only thing i haven't heard about is the 3800 V6, but it should be able to be made to work.

4th gen carpet is almost the same as 3rd gen, only a few small differences but doesnt require any cutting at all

Re: what transferes over from a 4th gen to the 3rd?
I have a automatic 92 firebird formula 5.7 350
my center console and radio pod are done for
and classic industries stop selling the 3rd gen
center console, so im thinking about 4th gen
what year console should i get? does it have to be
manual? will it just bolt in? what mods do i have to do
the console? will the 4th gen radio pod bolt in?
do i have to do mods with the radio pod? is it better to
stick with 3rd ged radio pod? will 4th gen seats bolt in?
i need answer and details!
