Power window and Hatch switch locations

Can anyone take some measurements for me? I need to know the exact placement of the window switches and hatch... i only have one shot at this. If anyone has theirs out, and they could put a tape measure on it, so i can get the proper stock places that would be greatly appreciated. I want to try to do this saturday!!! thanks in advance!

IMHO it's easier to buy a upper console with the cutouts

What is the upper console then that you are talking about. All I know is that piece doesn't come off, and I thought it was attached to the entire console... which I have a hard time believing is 20 dollars. Can you show me where?

Re: Power window and Hatch switch locations

Good to know. I guess I just assumed that it was an expensive piece. Seems like everything you think is expensive on these cars is a dime a dozen and everything you think is easy to find... you can't. I think I'll still try to just put the holes in mine if anyone has measurements, but at least i know if I screw up, I can get a new one cheap!!! I mean.. hey, its a project car for a reason right? If I wanted the easy way out, i woulda bought one that was already built Thanks for the info tho, I appreciate it.

Re: Power window and Hatch switch locations

Here is a pic of my setup incase you haven't cut them in yet. Just measure and divide by 4 for the width and the length should be close to 2" back.

Re: Power window and Hatch switch locations

you could also just go to any junkyard and pick one up from anywhere to 5-20 bucks.....or just go to a junkyard and measure them
