Well tonight was going to be audio install, but when I got home and opened the mail, my white gauge faces had arrived!

Those are awesome. Good job! How did you get the needles off? I heard there's a bit of a problem with them breaking?

Thanks! I got bored and started playing with my spare needles, I think they came out good on the white face, also the blue LED compliment them!

Very, VERY nice.... I dig it. My silverface gauges in my car change the whole atmosphere of the interior I think. You'll love 'em every time you get in the car! Cool stuff!

Why do you want to remove the needles? I suggest you don't. They can be very tricky to remove without breaking, plus you risk not putting them on the same position as before and everything will be off.
The White Knight - You didn't have to remove the needles to install the overlays, you should let everyone know that so they dont think they have to. I understand you painted them and i think it looks great. But just so the rest of you know you do not have to.
Thats a great looking cluster what color bulbs are you going to run? LEDs?
I ran white overlays with red wide angle leds and it looked really good. Now i'll be running a custom autometer setup though.

I found it very hard to install without needles off, Im sure its doable, but it was much easier with them off.
I marked all the positions of the needles and did 1 at a time so not to mess there locations up.
I have 194 LED blue bulbs in to it.
