Okay so im hoping someone can help me here. I went and got the solenoid and everything out of a car in the junkyard. Works and all. i just wanted to ask if i can just bolt the solenoid right on my manual one thats already on there. I took the solenoid off the one from the junkyard hooked it to a battery i had laying around and works great. I read in an article i need a relay???? if so where and why. i mean if it worked great right to the battery why do i need the relay? Also if anyone has any pictures thatd be great!. and one last thing, can i take the cord from the manual and put it into the solenoid. i had to cut the cord at the junkyard to get it out cus some jackass screwed the lock up really bad for me to pop it.
