need help with my tach !!

need help with my tach !!

my factyory tach is off and i dont know how to fix it can anyone help it completly goes redline on start up and i dont know what would be wrong can anyone help

actually some info is in my garage with pics ....... but anyway it is a 90 irocz 5.7l tpi 6speed .......
