Mounting aftermarket sail panels?

I have new sail panels I ordered from Paddock. There is nothing on the back side to mount them. No hooks, no velcro. The coat hook screw alone holds them in pretty well but I'm thinking double sided tape to hold the curve better. What have other people used?

Hind sight: recovering the old ones would have been less hassle.

Do you still have the old ones? If so, just pull the clips off those, and glue them to the backs of the new ones. Otherwise, vel-cro would probably work well. I wouldn't use double sided tape, just in case you want to remove them later (like to get at the speakers) without destroying them.

Have you glued the metal hooks to the boards before?

Re: Mounting aftermarket sail panels?

I picked up "industrial strength velcro" today. Worked fine.

Mine isn't holding very well either. Every time I think to look at it, I have to push it back in.

Re: Mounting aftermarket sail panels?

Mine were dirty and I pulled the material off the board and put them in the washer. Cleaned up real good and instead of the staples I used velcro to mount them to the board again. My 89 used a board but my 92's were mounted to a plastic back which sucked and didnt fit as good.
