How to remove convert rear speaker grilles?

How to remove convert rear speaker grilles?
I want to pull the cloth covered grilles on rear side panels so I can clean and/or recover them - anyone have tips for removing them without breaking them or damaging the upholstery?

You have to remove the panels they are attached to. 4 bolts from backside.

You mean the rear sail panels? These:
It's one screw at the top, then slide them up.

Those are for T tops and hardtops. Convertibles are rectangular.

i do beleave you can just pop them off by wedging it out with a flat head screw driver, but i could be wrong i have never taken them off
