I'M DOING THE SAME THING. SUCKS THAT NOBODY MAKES ONE FOR THE FIREBIRDS. WHAT ABOUT TURN SIGNAL INDICATORS?

I would have went with some 5" gauges for the tach and speedo but otherwise looks good

I think it looks better with the samll gauges

I used 3\4" MDF You can also use 1/2" MDF

that looks pretty good i want to do the same thing since i want to switch my speedo from electric to cable

do you think a piece of aluminum would work?

Aluminum may work, but take it from a truck driver aluminum WILL eventually begin to rattle something fierce. Most of the old freightliner panels are aluminum and the rattling is terrible. I would stay away from it personally.

I e-mailed Covans Classic They are in the process of making one for the third- gen firebird.

I dunno....I like the concept, just not that layout.

When viewed from the driver's seat...The 3 1/2 gauges on the left....Just doesn't do it for me.
