Re: Power window switches

Have you tried Year 1, or Classic Ind? I thought one of them had both styles. I could be mistaken though.

Re: Power window switches

Classic Industies and Year one don't have them either. I checked. Classic still shows them on their website but when you try to order them it just says discontined and I called and they said they don't have them any more. Hawks also shows them as discontined.

I am frustrated, but if any runs into a dealer with some old GM stock please post it. Or if there are any one making reproductions post it. Let's all keep searching.

Re: Power window switches

I was able to get both power window switches, both door lock switches, and the rear hatch release switch at the dealership. Ask the parts guy to look up the inventory for your part number nationwide and they should be able to get you a list starting with the nearest dealership that has one. Then all you have to do is call and have it shiped to your door. I had to call 4 different dealerships but I was able to locate everthing I needed. I did this about two months ago. I hope this helps.

Thanks for tracking those down, but i am looking for some new ones with the paint intact. Mine work but look terrible and I am restoring my interior. I put in new carpet, setbelts, and foglight switch, hazard switch, rear defroseter switch but need the power window switchs.

bmccreery, I did not think of the dealer direct route. I am going to try that. Do you happen to have the GM part numbers for the window switchs, and hatch release switch?
