A- pillar trim

When I bought my car the headliner was already out of it and the trim pieces were in the backseat. Now I'm getting ready to order new headliner and I noticed one of my trim pieces has a couple of the little slats broken on the backside. Is there a way to make these work? I was thinking of maybe JB-welding the plastic pins onto it. I thought about buying another one but I'm afraid it will be the same way.

(My car is hardtop BTW)
