crack kills

Engine: 2.8 v6, 305 tpi (for now)
Transmission: automatic, auto( for now)
crack kills

ok i've been searching this site, and i know its on here somewhere.

i have two great big cracks on the top of my dash, i was wondering why it happens to thirdgens, what i can do to fix/ replace it cheaply.

if anyone knows anything it'd be apreceated

Replace it, You can either buy it from Classic industries and get on a waiting list of about 400 for 350$ I think or buy a used good conditioned one for about 100-250$ on ebay.

Either way theres really no way to fix it unless you found some way to cover it up.

This happens to all thirdgens because GM used cheap plastic to cover the dashpad. Replace it with a new one and be done with it, its really easy.

I'd suggest the blaring summer sun and perhaps winter's cold. I doubt that most garaged cars suffer nearly as badly as those poor old rides that are exposed to the elements.

I cheap fix is the dash pad cap and or carpet that someone makes. I search would no doubt find it.
