Make sure you scrub all the dirt and grime out of the plastic with soapy water and use one of the higher end protectants like armorall. If its too faded you could always paint it.

Re: Need advice on cleaning products.

I used a product called 'Purple Power' from a company called Clean-Rite. Got it at Pep Boys if I remember correctly and used it on everything. I took my interior out piece by piece, soaked, scrubbed and hosed it all down. Each piece came out like new and my interior was filthy. Used it on the seats and seat belts too. It is a strong cleaner though and it was used on grey plastic. Hope this helps!

Re: Need advice on cleaning products.

those Mr Clean magic erasers are ****ing awesome to use on the interior vinyl and plastics. On the armrests in my car i had a bunch of embedded dirt and grime from the previous owners that scrubbing wouldn't take out. about 10 minutes and it was all clean. then i put on some Harley Davidson leather dressing that my dad got from work on everything and it looks brand new! under $10 for everything, and it works the best out of everything Ive ever used.

Re: Need advice on cleaning products.

I agree with Btown: Good old hot soapy water followed by a dressing of some type (I like Meguiar’s) will do very nicely.
