Speedo cable. Autometer gauge.

so im gettin a autometer mechanical speedo and it doesnt come with a gauge, and i already destryed the one that was in the car from the 7004r, so now i need to know if i get a replacement for a camaro , will it fit the autometer gauge, the autometer gauge is 5/8 x 18 nut and a drive shaft of.104 anyone know if the stock cable will make it work.

I assume you mean "cable." If you still have the old cable, you can always try it. BTW, JTNKTZ was asking this question not long ago. You might consider PMing him.

i know for a fact advance auto has the cable for the t5 cars. Im not sure if there is a difference for the auto trans.

search for an OLD post of mine where i listed what 70s truck had the right fittings on the end to screw into an autometer guage.
