My Custom Logo!!
Hey guys I wasn't exactly sure where to post this, but I just wanted to get some of your opinions and feedback on the logo I came up with.
I was thinking about getting it put on the 'Maro's headrests when I re-do the inerior (minus the blue background)
. Thanks guys
P.S. - Wouldn't mind some ideas on how to improve it either

Re: My Custom Logo!!
Well it's sorta hard to explain but I'll give it a try
Well the thick, underlying line is sort of an exaggeration of the front fascia of 3rd gens, and the most obvious is the original Camaro logo. Hope this helps : )

Re: My Custom Logo!!
do the full side profile outline of a thirdgen, particularly yours (same spoiler/vert or hardtop). Might have to break it in the middle for the logo otherwise it would be huge ha. other than that its looking good
Re: My Custom Logo!!
and instead of the oval i would have the design stitched in as the entire front portion of the headrest..where ur head sits of course.
Re: My Custom Logo!!
Another thing to keep in mind when doing custom work. Chip Foose says this allot. The best mods are mods that look like the factory should have put it there.
Where I'm going with this is,if you decide to sell the car 5 yrs from now the person purchasing the car would probably love the Chevy symbols on the seats, but maybe not something to crazy.
Just my .02,I've always put allot of thought into anything that I've added to a show car.
Hope this helps

Re: My Custom Logo!!
Quick idea. If you put on your own custom logo, put it on a headrest covers, something like this but a bit nicer and the same material and color as your seats.

So if you, end up selling the car or go into a more classic car show or even out grow it; you can easly pull them off.
I plan to do this with a logo I made for my car as I love the logo along with most of my friend and family but at car show or outside of my group most will not get it or think it "stupid".

Re: My Custom Logo!!
First glance reminded me of cadillac's emblem. (The exaggerated front end)
Use a side profile like this. Someone on here did this for me. Otherwise the Chevy logo itself would be nice like stated above as well.

I'm guessing this is a very, very vauge idea of what you guys mean. Obviously I would make some adjustments to the profile and what not. Thanks again.

Re: My Custom Logo!!
I dont know if you wanted any help but i took some of the ideas in this thread and came up with this. Dont think the camaro logo and the profile go together since one is horizontal and the other is vertical. Anyways heres what i made and your welcome to use it if you want. Just let me know what format you want it in, One is just plain so you can do whatever you want with it, other two are something i just threw on it to show you what you can do with it. For stitching you would want the plain one.

Re: My Custom Logo!!
the thing that is missing (IMO) is the squareness of the front end.
its really pronounced from certain angles, and may not be from the side, but i think that it would make it more "camaro"
ya kno?
im not sure about the stretched out version, but if you like it

but even for a color blind guy like me the two different reds seem to clash.
i took some time to look at it - and decided i like it.
i think it would look best in the center of the grill where the bowtie goes.
nice job

Re: My Custom Logo!!
Im not really digging the thin line on the back. The other line weights are way to heavy for that. Also, I think works better without the bevel. If the line was thickened up a bit, this would be golden.

Re: My Custom Logo!!
Maybe its asking a bit much, but can the same log be done with "IROC-Z' instead ? I looked for the IROC-Z font years ago but never found it

Re: My Custom Logo!!
I like Coyotesa first designs I just think it would look better with out the big white breakup between the word camaro and the camaro itself. Maybe have the curve at the beginning be more of the shape of the C and roll into the word camaro. Just a smoother transition. I don't know, just my 2 cents
