Are 3rd and 4th gen seat bottom inner pan the same?

Just wondering if anyone knows for sure. I am working on the drivers seat for my 1982 Firebird and the pan (inner metal structure) is rusted and crummy. I have a set of almost useless 4th gen seats and I wondered if the pan was the same. I noticed that the 82 seat pan looked like it was made for the driver or passenger side, and I know the 4th gen seats will bolt in. I've already swapped the passenger side 4th gen rails onto my 82 passenger seat and will be using the 4th gen power rails on my driver seat once I get I get the inner structure figured out.

Any help is appreciated!

Does anyone have any pics of the inner bottom structure when they were recovering some 4th gen seats? Maybe I can compare them to what I have.

I tore apart a 4th gen seat last night. The inner pan is close enough that I will be able to use it just fine. Hope this helps someone in the future!
