Finding The Right LED's

i trying to install LED in my instrument panel do u think these ones i bought will be bright enough

One LED per socket will not be bright enough.You want around 4 & up to say, 6 per to illuminate the panel well enough.

so about 6 of those LED's should equal the brightness of one of the orginal bulbs

4-6 should do it.Depends on your eyes & the size of the LEDs used.

I used VLEDS for LEDs for my truck's dash and they worked great.
http://www.v-leds.com/Exterior-LED/CornerSide-Marker-LED/White-LED/2-HID-WHITE-SMT-5-LED-p4481039-1-2.html they can get a little pricey at $10 a pair but they look great. I'm thinking of doing the firebird w/ red when i get the chance

this isn't my actual dash but its the same bulbs and same color I used

the bulbs im using are 5mm

oh just one one question, what is the general voltage and amperage for one of those light bulb sockets in the instrument panel, just so i can figure out how much resistance is needed
