An interesting take on the cupholder debate

Well Eckler's Camaro decided to toss their hat into the ring of the great cupholder debate. Look what they came up with!
Its 79.99 which is way cheaper than what hawks wants for just normal lids.
Eckler's also offers normal console lids for 59.99.

They've made console lids like that for Mustangs for years.

From 6 months ago....So who copied who? They look identical.

I think this is a MUCH better idea.

If you have a drink in the lid ones, how are you gonna open the lid without spilling it?

I don't know, maybe finish your drink or remove it before opening the console? LOL

Well i love the idea of removing the clock.
But the catch is i dont have the clock. >_<
So i'd have to cut a hole to mock the clock.
I personally like the look of the console without the cup holder.
But it's really functional.
And your right they do look identical.

Why cut up your console or install a fugly console compartment lid?

I just open the lid and put my beverage in the compartment.

that's very interesting.... I'm not sure how the pacement would work with a 5 speed stick, but I appreciate them trying to bring this to the masses
