I have a quick update, we got our first test fit kit in and had a few changes to make so we are nearing completeion, if you want to go ahead and order I do have pricing at my desk so you can call in and speak with me personally and I can get you on the order list so you get one of the first production pieces they look great we just had a few changes we wanted to make to make installation easier for the end customer.

are you going to sell just the panel. i have most of the gauges.

 

I would also like to know if I can purchase the panel without gauges? Or what gauge options you will be offering... Will you offer the Auto Meter Sport-Comp II Chevy Bowtie gauges?

I checked on Summit and that particular line of gauges has all the proper gauges (2 1/6" size electrical oil pressure, water temp, volt, fuel level. And 3 3/8" electical 160mph Speedometer, 3 3/8" 10k Tachometer) at a total of $807.70 + shipping, that's without any discounts.

I would LOVE to have these Chevy Bowtie gauges in your panel!

 

wow i have been waiting to find something like this! I have been meaning to call but how much for just panel?! I like the autometer c2 gauges full sweep

 

When will the unit be put on your website. Is this going to be a plug and play dash?

Im just curious of it replaces just the cluster, or if it replaces the whole plastic surround. From the looks of it, its the whole surround. It looks like it has a hole for the headlight switch.

Holy mole. At that $ I would just get a 145mph cluster and call it a day. Still looks good though.

 

Until now the only option for 90-92, was to spend $600+ on a set of gauges, make our own panel or have it made (which never turns out as good looking as this), then hack into the dash wiring.
$800 for something that is a direct bolt in, with wiring thats plug in play is worth it in my book. If I didnt already have a full set of gauges Id buy the whole kit.

now how about getting these panels pre drilled? i called hawks and they said un drilled. lol i already have some cheap orielies sp? gauges and i was going to mix and match them untill i can afford a whole set of C2

I freakin love this, and will definitely put it at the top of my list of things to get ( and from Hawk's, not Rick's). I'm just kind of curious about the mounting of the headlight, defroster and cigarette lighter; all of those mount to the bezel and I see no provision for those.

Hawks is closed until the 12th. May not get a response until sometime after that. I tried to email them and saw that they were closed on their website and in an automated email response.

I'm just happy to see people are starting to make custom parts we all need and want.For a long time the 3rd gen was the ugly redheaded step child of the f body line but things are coming around for us.

 

i have the first panel covans made.... ive had it for a few weeks... Unfortunately after waiting forever and forever, i made my own...

I have the one i got for sale still in the box for what i paid for it $150 plus shipping.

I am also contemplating making these for people. Pm for info

 

i like the covans piece. i think they did a nice job with them. but they dont offer blank panels. hopefully hawks will see that there is a demand for blanks.

thanks well i have buddys that do carbon fiber parts and wraps its kinda thick like 1/8 that peace was a left over from a front spliter the made i got to good used hehe
