why did the PO do this? aka air fresheners inside the vents
i have a 91 b4c and the dumbass PO put 2 hockey puck style air fresheners INSIDE the center vents above the hvac controls and that spiel. Is it possible to get these vents out without breaking them or pulling the whole dash pad? need to replace the pad anyways but these things are annoying. rattle like the snake I tell ya

The vents are held in place by two small pin on each side. To remove you need to press the side of vent by the pin and release it from the hole. Just do it gently without using a lot of force with a screwdriver. They will pop out.
