Got a steal from a junk yard yesterday!
I was looking around at an area junk yard and found a white formula in pretty rough shape. But i poked around to see if there was anything worth while. I found a mint condition dash pad, which is awesome b/c mine is all cracked and peeling. I went up to see what pricing would be on the dash pad and the attendant asked if $15 sounded fair. So needless to say I came home with a dash pad haha. I also pulled most of a black interior out of a Camaro for my Firebird b/c I am switching it all over. I still need to find the panel that the latch goes through and the piece on the bottom of the hatch though. Those panels in the one i was pulling parts out of were both beaten up pretty bad and not worth taking. I also wouldn't mind finding black seat belts but the ones in that car were all cut (I'm assuming from the front end collision it was in)

congrats, nice find! I normally find some pretty good deals too. My car was all tan interior until I switched everything to black thanks to junkyard donors.

I've made plenty of extra cash hittin junk yards and selling parts on eBay. I bought a center console lid from a 00' Trans Am for $5.00 and it sold for $110!

i removed my new set of ground effect mounts off of a donor car, took me 20 minutes per side, center punch and drill all 10 spot wels with a small pilot bit, then attack them with a large bit, took 2 minutes per spot weld with a set of Irwin cobalt drill bits. they cut in it like it was butter
