I found this piece loose when I bought my car....but I can't realize where it goes, what its purpose is.... It's gray colored like the interior plastic pieces, so I assume it comes from somewhere the interior. Also has a pivoting head. Here are some pics:

I don't think it's part of the car. I've never seen anything like it before, and I've gutted the interiors of 4 different model Camaro's, 1985, 1987, 1990, 1992

 

x2 on the never seen one before. I've disassembled over 30 3rd gens and never seen one of them.

 

3x on the never seen it before, i've been through plenty of 3rd gens and 4th gens and never seen that

 

Well, I suppose it was in the car but doesn't belong to it..... It's weird how the coincidence about the color confused me.

Thats the routing valve that intersects your blinker fluid to your flux capaciter and reroutes the oil to the windshield washer fluid.

Just Kidding. x4 on not knowing.
