**** PROBLEM

ahh, figured i'd get someone's attention. How do i get off the shifter **** off of an automatic? i'm almost dome guttin the interior but cannot for the life of me figure out how to get the g-dam shifter **** off? please help asap, got 2 1/2 more hours till kids get home and i wanna get this done.

The guy asked for 5speed but someone responded w/ automatic so should work

Pop off the button and there will be a clip there remove clip and pull off ****. ( this was said for the round automatic shifter ****, but i believe it would work for the square aswell )
