93-97 Console Interchangeable with 98-02?

From: Edmonton, Alberta.
Car: 1988 Pontiac Trans Am GTA.
Engine: 385 stroker sbc
Transmission: TKO600
Axle/Gears: Moser 9" 3.70 Wavetrac
93-97 Console Interchangeable with 98-02?
I can't seem to find a good deal on a 4th gen center console. However I have found a 93-97 "lower" console and a 98-02 "upper" console.
Are those interchangeable?
Does anybody know from experience?
