Factory shift light

I recently swapped from an automatic to manual transmission, I had the dashboard apart last night and I noticed in the gauge cluster there's a "shift" light that didn't have a bulb behind it. I put a bulb in that empty spot out of another cluster I had, what else would be required to get that to light up?

The PROM from a manual car should be all you need. That and to ensure that your wiring for the manual transmission matches that of a stock T5 car.
