Re: Bench Seats, front and back?
Anything is possible, but why in the world did you buy a Camaro in the first place if you're a bench seat kind of guy?
To answer your question specifically, I would expect a bench seat installation into a Camaro to be a difficult procedure that would require fairly extensive modifications to whatever seat you start with, and some modifications to the console area in the car. In order to properly fit a bench seat low enough for you to still fit into the car, you'd have to essentially make the bottom of the bench seat in 2 pieces, one for each side of the tunnel, so in that sense, it wouldn't be a true bench seat at all. Likewise, the emergency brake assembly is in the way, again necessitating a 2-piece lower section. The shifter assembly would also interfere with the front of the lower bench. If you have power windows, and/or power hatch release, those controls would need to be relocated. of course, since the console would no longer fit, you'd have to either modify it so that you could retain the radio & heater controls, or create a new pod to hold those.
Beyond that, you'd need to custom fabricate some sliders, either by modifying the stock thirdgen sliders or modifying the sliders that come with the bench seat you get. Neither will be easy due to the very small space necessary to get the seat low enough. You might be able to get away with the factory seat belt mounts, since you'd have to be running a 2-piece lower seat anyway, but it's also a possibility that those would need to be relocated.
I would think that simply finding a more comfortable pair of buckets would be a far, far easier way to meet your overall needs.

What? That would be a ton of work, look around for some good bucket seats that you like before you start modifying the whole interior how it was designed.

True, if that is what you want. You would have to modify quite a bit, but it can be done I suppose.

It'd be quite a bit of customization, but in the end i should just buy a benchseat car lol. Anyway that was my random thought of the day.

The AL4 Strato-Back Front bench seat was only offered in 1967 and 1968.
Approx 6627 in 1967 and 4938 in 1968

Re: Bench Seats, front and back?
Just get yourself an old Monte Carlo or something, there's no reason to ruin a Camaro by putting a bench in it. Just my

Re: Bench Seats, front and back?
I had a 2 Door 64 Impala with front bench seats and a 72 Chevelle. Like the above poster said don't do it to a Camaro
Re: Bench Seats, front and back?
Not gonna happen, you seen the highth of your tunnel? Your head is gonna cranked to the side or popping out your t-tops. It has buckets for a reason, your sitting in a hole. Besides those cars corner like they are on rails, if you did manage to get a bench in there and take a good left hand turn you wouldn't be driving no more, but sitting in your passengers lap.

Re: Bench Seats, front and back?
Bench seats are really comfy but I agree you would have no headroom unless you made these custom t-tops that have a giant bubble of some sort. If you want something with benchseats do what my neighbor did. He went out and bought an 81 plymouth reliant, its comfy but its an inline 4 so it is really slow.

Re: Bench Seats, front and back?
What are you? Friggin' Nuts!!! PULL YOURSELF TOGETHER MAN!! I know, You should find a 4 Cylinder Camaro and but bench seats front and back in it. Then, You should replace the Suspension with Leaf Springs, Put Metal shielded wooden wagon wheels on it and paint it with a paint brush.
BTW, i'm just joking here....... Relax. Not really trying to be offensive with my comments. I'm just trying a little comedy.
