can anyone help me out by posting links to sites taht i can get a decent vinyle set of front gta style seat covers?

i might buy a set but its black cloth. i cant afford leather so vinyl will be just fine.


hawks is too pricey so anyone else? or if you have a set of covers for sale let me know.

well how much are you looking to spend and are you looking for a long term solution or more of a temp fix up

 

200 tops for black vinyl and i can put them on my self and I only need the front seat covers rear are all set

I emailed hawks on if they would sell just the front covers and won't hear till tomorrow. Any other sugggestions?

 

If I remember correctly I think 1aauto will sell just the front covers and I want to say their price was like $235 for just the fronts. Otherwise you could make your own, I posted an article on here about a guy who did that and they turned out great and it cost him $175 to do all the seats, It didn't look as hard as I thought it would be, let me know if you want to look at it I can find the page again.

There's only one company making seat covers, so no matter who you buy them from, you're buying the same thing. Because of that, the price isn't really going to change all that much from one vendor to the next. You're definitely not going to find a set under $200.

There are some places that are cheaper than others though. PM me for more info.

 

well hawks cant help. and im only saying 200 since i feel its fair since i dont want the rear set.

take 400 and cut it in half for just the front set.

You might want to check with classic industries. They also carry the vinyl gta uphoslstry kits but as Jim85IROC said, they all come from the same manufacturer. Classic sells them for a bit cheaper than hawks and sometimes they run really good sales, like 20% off, but I have no idea if they would break up a whole set for you. I've found their staff to be friendly but generally incompitent but it might be worth a try.

 

yea classic has a full set for 350 but cant get just the front.

didn't think this would be such an issue, but then again whatever isn't

the only reason i'm looking for these seat covers is because i'm about to get a great deal on front gta seats. black cloth no rips

but my car already is all set for seats but i figured id hold onto the gta seats incase i wana put them in my car later on or sell them and make a few bucks.

but if i do use them in the future i'm going to want black vinyl. so there is no rush so i'll just have to keep my eyes open.

Classic could get just the fronts, but they're too big of a company to bother.

Fronts are available separately... I've sold a few sets. In fact, I think I've sold them for around $200. I thought you were looking for the whole set for $200, which nobody can do.

I would be extremely interested If I could get just the front GTA seat covers in the tan vinyl. My back seats are mint like 90% of these cars.

 

Jim, I notice Hawks has some regular T/A seat covers available now in reproduction pallex cloth. Any idea if the manufacturer is going to make any GTA covers in the same material? That encore velour stuff is ugly.

 

What ever you decide.Dont order from covergirl!!.Shes been promising to build me a set for over a year.She's got my money & i have nothing yet.Everytime i asked her for an update.She always has something else happening in her life.She tells me shes been sick for the past year,yet there is NO mention of it on her website.Other "reasons" given at various times were, hospitalised & moving!She also told me she'd refund my money @ 100 a week & has yet to only give one payment in the past 4 weeks.Her work might be good, but her comitment to deliver, lacks!Total disappointment, dont expect to get anything soon if you order from her.
