Car is a 92 Z. I got something out of the trunk earlier today. It opened fine, and closed like normal. Wen't outside a little bit ago and the interior trunk light was on. I opened the trunk with the key to check it out. Tried to close it and it wouldn't shut. The trunk release button does not work. It looks like the latch is still in the closed position.

Any ideas on what the culprit is here? I checked all the fuses and they were good.
