dash pad cover

when i bought the car it had a new dash cover with it, just not installed, i didnt think much of it at the time. now that i got the car running and sounding good. im focusing on all the smaller things and when goin to put the dash pad on it doesnt seem to line up. it seems to small. i dont know if there was different styles but from what ive been lookin at they all look the same. the bolts dont line up at all. if the screws by the top vents are screwed in then theres a gap at the front of the dash. i dont know am i missing something somewhere? it looks all wrong

Dash cover or dash pad? If dash pad and the holes don't line up could it possibly be a Firebird dash pad? I know they are slightly different. The main identifying difference that I remember is the speaker grills. On the Camaro they are molded in. On the Firebird I believe some if not all are a separate piece.
