Mustang dash gauge pod???

Just a thought, but has anyone tried or considered trying one of these mustang dash gauge panals to put under our center vents under the dash.It would of course be turned upside down.I just dont want an opened back sunpro thingy there.

I`m gonna pick one up and give it a try.I have an a pillar now for trans temp and i`m just not feeling it any more.I also want to go aftermarket on my cluster and this might help make more room on a custom cluster.I realize there is room for all the gauges but its just a thought.

Re: Mustang dash gauge pod???

they also got a 1 gauge pod and 3 gauge pod design.

I also drilled 2 small holes on the bottem of the gaugepod and put 2 leds in them.
thats what gives the red glow. looks cool at night

Re: Mustang dash gauge pod???

ridiculous in a good or bad way ?

for the interior
quote mad max
"you know how it goes, piece from here, piece from there "
interior came out of a fully tuned firebird wich got sold into pieces, the interior cost me 400 euro + the guy helped to install it, parts that didnt fit from the firebird we took my stuff and painted them grey.
to make the vinyl more mushy around the console we took my console, took the grey cloth of it, put some muuse around it ( the same tohing a matras is made off ) then clothed it with white vinyl.

the nordskog dash was 500 euro, the 2 extra gauges + gaugepod cane from summit.
radio install took longer then expected due the some cutting of the previous owner.
installing the bluetooth carkit took me 2 hours and costed me 20 euro.

Its more of personal preference, if i wasnt working on cars all the time that'd be awesome, but for me it'd be black in like a week. Looks pretty d@mn good, must be hard to keep clean though

Re: Mustang dash gauge pod???

I also always work on my car, I just glued in my T-top weaterstripping with that black stuff.
it is best wen you work that you put something over the cloth or vinyl when you work.
all the other parts in the car can cleaned easely with some soapwater or some meguiars.
ofcours, after a couple of years you do notice that the white aint that white anymore and the light greyisch is actually darker then first, but still.......
