Vynil Floor cover?? Anybody

I know I'll probably catch flack from some hard core restore officinados but since Ive been working on my interior for a week and fighting the rust under the head liner and in the floor pan and pulling the rotten cloth out Ive decided I dont want any friggin cloth in my car. Ive searched and called around a little bit and havent had any luck. Im looking for a vynil floor cover for my floor pan instead of carpet like in a pick-up truck. Is this done by anybody?
If not any ideas on fabricating my own?.Also Im gonna try to order an ABS plastic headliner in black with no cloth on it. Not sure if Im gonna be able to order that either. I Know i can get vynil door panels and seat covers no problem . Any suggestions on the headliner and floor cover?

Uncovered headliners are no problem. Call ACC and ask them to do a custom vinyl floor for you.

Oh Moderator I hath been touched from on high and do truly feel blessed

However I called ACC and they cant or wont make the floor cover as there is no vacum mold for my car for the vinyl floor covering only pickups and SUVs.

The rep stated that there were only carpet molds for my car and that the mold for that wouldnt work.

Wonder If I could make one?

Well Ive searched high and low I can find material by the roll that would work I think but I wouldnt try it myself as I wouldnt know how to get it to lay with the tunnel past the front seats into the rear seat pans .Guess I could try one of the local interior shops and see if the can make one but I was hopin for a DIY solution.

You know its funny I actually thought about it lol then add some of the high speed catch all floor mats that cover each of the floor pans totally with the big ridges in them.

But from what I read once dirt gets ground into the bed liner material it would be hard to clean, I dont know how Id hide the exposed wiring, and its awful hard on the knees and knuckles .

Id catch hell the first time the Ol'lady got in and skinned her toes in open toed shoes, if and when I decide she's worthy emough to ride in my IROC lol (sure am glad she aint readin this )

Textured vinyl wouldn't be any easier to clean than a truck bedliner material. Probably harder even, since the texture is deeper. A rubberized spray-in liner material might be easier on the toes, but you'd still have the problem of the wiring. Some of it could be tucked under trim, or rerouted on the exterior.

Camp Lejeune huh....i take it your a Marine, or related to one? ive got alot of friends who have been through Camp Lejeune

anyway, i can vouch the uncovered ABS is a great idea, but i think it only comes in a very dark Gray, I painted mine the gray of my interior and it turned out amazing

https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/in...d-console.html

thats my thread on the overhead console install with an uncovered ABS

as for the flooring, im at a loss on what to tell you, sounds like a custom Fab job on your part with whatever material you decide to use

oh and cleaning Truck bedliner is easy as pie, buy Grip tape cleaner for skateboards, it will get dirt out of any surface that is rough

Yep Marine I am,....well former Marine, got out after my last pump to Afghanistan, Im a small arms instructor for the government now......

Thanks for the info on the grip tape cleaner I'll see about rerouteing my wiring. May need to extend some of them, Just when I thought Iwas done soldering spent days repairing the PO's mess on the harness, Just gotta find some DIY bedliner that has a texture I like. If I use the right floor mats too shouldnt be to bad on the feet.
