what dash was this??
I was at a salvage yard Saturday. He said only one Bird but found three. My question is simple. Based on the jamb stickers he had two 82's. Both were reg firebirds but they had different dashes. One had the 4? big round gauge areas typical of the se cars but the other had the two big round gauges and to the right was 4 dark horizontal bars. Two side by side and two below side by side. I have never seen this before. What type of dash was this. It was definately a factory dash due to the front plastic panel was not modified and had the full factory styling. Was this a special dash out of a later year or could it be a digital dash? Could someone post a pic of a factory digital dash.
The guy at the salvage yard said it was just regular gauges but they do not match the general look of my 91 or even pics of 82 t/a's and Firebirds I have seen. These all have the big round gauges accross the whole dash.
When I go again I will try to get a pic. I was not expecting this and never thought to bring my digital camera.

Re: what dash was this??
Thanks, That is the dash I seen. All the guy could say was analog gauges. I would not have bet on all idiot lights there with it having a leather steering wheel. I did try to search so much appreciated. I learned a little more.
