completely rusted out driver seat bracket....
Ok heres the deal, my driver side front seat bracket, the front bracket mind you(idk what shape the rear mount is in) is completely shot, rusted to all hell, both the bolt mounting spots on it broke, discovered this when the seat came loose and the bolts were just spinning something underneath, pulled the carpet back and its just shot to hell, I can't find a replacement or any suggestions what to do other than find one from a JY...but I would like something new, I live in PA, so chances are anything I found in a JY would be just as bad as what I have...I am wondering if its possible to swap the pass side over, and am going to take a look at it...for a temporary solution, also wondering how hard it would be for an auto shop to fabricate a new bracket??
Edit:
also have a dumb question, from what I can tell, are the brackets welded to the body?? cause if so I will definitely have to have a shop take care of it...

The mounting studs come from underneath. You could swap pass side except seat belt and fold down will be wrong,or backwards. I have one I will let go. PM if interested

you mean the stubs on the floor pan have torn out?
you cant swap the passengerside ones over, the sheetmetal is formed differently, besides, if the entire cross brace that houses the studs is shot, what the condition of hte floor underneath that?
pics?

Re: completely rusted out driver seat bracket....
floor is mostly decent, except for that one trouble area, I had to have it patched right in front of the seat, but i wasn't told that my gd seat bracket was made of pure rust. Eventually I am going to strip the car to the frame and rebuild it with new floorpans and such, but atm I just need it on the road...I am broke off my *** because I can't get a fulltime job without transportation.
