Interior Moisture Control

I hope this is a good place to post this. If not I am sorry. Just wanted to give everyone a heads up about a nice little product I discovered. For those who might have projects in the works that are going to be sitting for a while, you know mildew and moisture in the interior can be an issue, especially if you don't own a garage. I know you can buy bags of desiccant to put in the car, but your local Dollar General sells something that works just as good. It is called Damp Rid, and cost $2.00 for a container that will last approx 45 days or so. This stuff sucks the moisture from the air and collects it in a receptacle in the bottom of the container. Once it's full, simply toss and put another one in. Pretty inexpensive way to keep mildew and moisture under control.

Damp Rid is a great product. They even make a version that's in a disposable bag with a hook that you can hook onto the rear view mirror.
