Is this steering column broken? (not loose?)

Hey guys, i picked up a 87 camaro a couple weeks ago from kijiji that the seller listed needs new steering column.
So i looked up steering column fixes in google and found that the steering column being "broken" was common and just needed to be tightened up.
The car ran great and started right away so i bought it as an "easy fix" car that i could drive around for a little while, i drove it home with the steering wheel flopping around everywhere and parked it and never got around to actually fixing it until recently.
i followed directions on fixing the steering column in a post here and some other one's and once i got pretty much everything off i realized that it seems to be actually broken and not just loose.

so basically i wanted your guy's opinions/experience on weather this is actually broken or not?
i assume i'm going to need a new steering column but don't look forward to doing, hopefully someone in Edmonton has one? (and can help me install it too? XD)

It can be pulled in or out with a little effort too....

Thanks for any help in advance

Hello Evo_Spec!!

Let me know how this David T place is, I have been known to drive a bit to get things, especially if it's worth it!!!
