Aftermarket seats.

I'm trying to find out who has what for a aftermarket seats. The aluminum style racing bucket isn't suitable for my application.
Besides the obvious choice of a nice leather 4th gen, I'm looking at the Scat/Procar Sport Seat model.
I've heard of a couple of unpleasent stories regarding the seat track fitment. Should a fellow go with aftermarket tracks or adapt the OEM pieces to fit?
A few links to check out.

Re: Aftermarket seats.

remember if your going to mod GM seat rails.(none power) use 2 pasngr side rail sets. this way aftermarket seats sit at the right angle and hight.

Interesting. I'll keep that in mind when the time comes to swap in new seats.
Ideally, what I'd like to do is drive to where my seats get shipped to (not at my shop unfortunately) and install them there with basic hand tools. I won't have the opportunity to fab or modifiy any bracketry at the time of installation. If the aftermarket seats (whatever I decide to get) will fit on stock tracks, even if they're a little off kilter initially, that'll get me home and I can make whatever changes are needed later.
