Has anyone heard of someone trying this? I'm not a fabrication guy. And I have yet to take the seats out of my G6 GTP to check the fitment. But from a support standpoint for a factory seat these G6 seats are INCREDIBLY good. Maybe my Ultima seats in my GTA are just worn, but they don't seem to provide anywhere near the upper torso support that the G6's do.

I suppose once its warmer I'll have to put the G6 seats in to the GTA and see how close they are to fitting. I've seen the G6 seats go pretty cheap in yards. Leather would be nice, but cloth woudln't bother me, its what i have now in the GTA (who buys a top model car with cloth seats......*shrugs*)

I agree with you on the "Who buys a top of the line car with cloth seats" thing. Leather is just better! (And I even live in a place where you can be burned badly for jumping in a parked car with shorts on!)
I believe they will bolt right in. I know G8 seats do, as I have seen them.
