Another dash pad
Another dash pad
I found another dash pad locally for a 100 bucks. It's suppose to be perfect. Should I buy it? Mine is 99% perfect. Wonder if I could sell it ot mine if it turned out to be better?

You'll end up selling yours for the same price you spent on that one, so I wouldn't waste your time. We all start our selling price at $150, end up at $100 plus the retarded shipping that you'll end up fighting with USP for 1.5 months because no matter how thick you make it, they will still manage to break the 20+ year old dash pad.

Grab it up! If not it will probably end up at the curb! Put one in the classified for $200 and see who bites. My friend is looking for one if I remember right, ill check. He is nicely restoring a 91-91 Z28 and found a mint steering wheel for $25. He was pumped.

local dashpad for $100...
no brainer
buy it, keep it for WHEN, not IF yours cracks
prop it up in a closet somewhere, it may be 5 years down the road, but I PROMISE someday you'll be glad you spent the money

Alright, if we're talking about keeping, then yes, $100 is fair as a spare, but if you're looking to flip it, I wouldn't unless you have someone lined up for it. Anyways, if you decide to get it, talk him down to $75.

Re: Another dash pad
I'd keep it, or flip it, choice is yours. The $150 perfect dashpad days are long long gone! I bought mine 3 years ago for $150, and I felt like I got a real deal back then! I wouldn't let it go for any less than $250 if I were to sell it. You'll easily get $250 plus shipping on ebay if you just list it and wait. Might take a few listings, but you'll get it.
The $150 perfect dashpad went the way of the $150 perfect foglights. Now the fogs are selling for $275+!
**EDIT** I'll GLADLY give you $150 for it plus shipping TODAY!!!!
