2nd gen formula wheel in a 3rd gen

I've been looking around at a way to make my interior oh so subtly different, and I was wondering if anyone had pictures of a 2nd gen formula style wheel in a 3rd gen. I did a search on it, and it seems someone did it years back, but all the pictures have expired to wherever old pictures go to die on the web.

I love my 3rd gen, but that steering wheel is one of the things I really loved about my old '78. Well, that and the engine turned dash, but that's not really a practical swap...

Here's what I'm working with...

Anybody done this, or have any pictures of it?

Thanks,

-Levi

It all swaps over. I came up with that idea a few months back when I was researching my shaker hood project. I'm also looking at taking a part a spare 2gen shifter and installing in into the 3gen one.

This is something that I also want to do, but I can't find a good deal on the wheel yet, but I guess I'll just keep looking.

I'm thinking that the 2nd gen wheel, along with some of the aluminum gauge rings, would make a huge difference for my interior.
