Horseshoe shifter

Anyone done one of these using Olds Touring Sedan/Trofeo parts? I have access to a trofeo and would love to adapt this.

Re: Horseshoe shifter

A while back some one on here was talking about doing it but that was the last I read on it. One thing mentioned was that for the older style for the three speed tranny a four speed detent retrofit was available. I believe I want to swap to a standard but if I keep an auto then I would look at this with the older shifter as I have two sitting around.

Re: Horseshoe shifter

being a 4 speed shifter should make no difference.
Just need a custom face plate cover.

Re: Horseshoe shifter

I too would love to see this done, or a Photoshop of it. If I had an automatic this is definitely something I would look into doing. My friend's 69 has one and I love it.
