no highbeam

Engine: stang eater..slower ones. lolololol
Transmission: 700r4-camaro t5-trans am
Axle/Gears: stock :(
no highbeam

yesterday i noticed my high beamswitch is busted. my turn signal works fine, but when i do the highbeams i get nothing, there is no click and it feels really loose. should i get a new multi fucntion switch. if thats the problem.

The lever pushes a rod that extends down the column to the actual switch which becomes loose over time and causes this. The switch is held in place by two little 7mm or so bolts that need to be loosened, the switch slid up toward the wheel and then retightened. Sometimes easier to access by dropping the column a bit, sitting in the driver seat, and looking down the top of the column while reaching under to move it around. Best to adjust with wheel in whatever tilt position you usually drive it with. Not hard, just takes a little time

ok thanks, i swerved to try and not hit a dog or what ever was in the road. i think i might of hit the lever. or it just failed and loosened up over time
