highbeam issues

ok,
My drivers side lowbeam light is a little (or lot) dimmer than my passenger side light. Then when i switch to the highbeams, the drivers lamp goes out, and the passenger lamp highbeam comes on. Does anyone know what would cause this, i'm guessing it's a wiring issue that came up. I changed the light out once, but the stupid thing did the same with the new on, and i'd kindalike to have two highbeams, and atleast two bright slowbeams. thanx in advance.

If you've already changed the bulb & it's still doing the same thing, check the voltage going to the lights. THere also might be a relay, but it would just provide power to both......

Try to find an intact car in yard & check that front nose wire harness, also. See what you are missing or grab better wires, maybe.
Glad I gave ya the clue
