kmh - mph dash swap

Thinking about shopping in my IROC-Z for a '91 'vert I've spotted, but the 'vert has it's dash in kmh.

How big a headache is it to swap the dash for one in mph?

Simple, just a few screws. You just need to replace the gauge cluster, not the entire dash. Just make sure you get the MPH equivalint cluster for the one you have. meaning if you have the KPH equivalint of the 145 MPH cluster, then you want the 145 MPH cluster, not the 110.

Ah cheers, it reads up to 200kmh - so that's the 110mph cluster I guess?

Re: kmh - mph dash swap

The 'vert I'm looking up has no mph markings on it at all.
Checked on my IROC-Z gauges, and yeah, 140mph is about 220-230kmh.

Re: kmh - mph dash swap

200KPH = 124.27MPH, so my guess would be the 110. Might also have to swap the VSS for one out of a car with the 100mph cluster

Re: kmh - mph dash swap

NVM, 145MPH = 233.35 KPH, so looks like the 145 cluster for you...good luck on that one, they are harder to find since everyone wants to swap the 110 for it.
