Ok, I was wondering does anyone have any advice on dyeing interior plastics? Mine are faded pretty bad and I want to do something about it. Any suggestions?

I'm just finishing mine up and having great luck with excellent results. It may be overkill, but doesn't really take long and I like doing things right the first time, so I first cleaned the pieces with dish soap and warm water (if really dirty, you can use 'greased lightning' or 'simple green' cleaners). Next, I used SEM plastic prep spray and wiped it down - per instructions and finally, I used SEM interior vinyl, carpet etc. flexible spray paint. It's made specifically for this application and is carried in your better auto body supply stores. In Mass, I paid 13 bucks a can and you'll need at least 2 for the black pieces. I'll post pics later this month, but for now, I'm very happy with the results of the SEM. Advice; don't skimp on the prep work!

The SEM Is amazing! After cleaning really well, get some oderless mineral Spirits from home depot. Whip down really well, it opens trhe pores of plastic priming for paint. If you know how to paint you will be amazed at this paint. Good luck!
