I cant find a restoration company or magazine or site that provides a new shifter boot for an automatic '92 Camaro RS. Anybody have some spare parts? I also need new air vent air flow directors.

Good luck with the boot.I tried finding one too, but ended up making my own.

 

1992 Camaro RS cars didn't have a boot - that's why you can't find one. To my knowledge, all Camaro's had the sliding plate, and only 'Birds got the boot.

 

Well yah thats what I meant. but there's not much left to tell what it was in the first place.

If you go to Lowes and look they sell this stuff by the foot, and its only like 3 bucks a foot. Matches the texture of the shift plate almost perfect you just have to use your old shift slider as a template. Also you have to reuse your little ring that your shifter slides through. My little shifter slider was literally falling apart.

i was gonna make a couple sets but didnt seem to be a demand......I probably could have done them for 8-10$ shipped.
