steering column issues need help

Axle/Gears: 10 bolt 3.73
steering column issues need help

my turn signal/wiper switch is broken and i want to replace it as well as replace the ignition but when i take the steering wheel off i cant seem to get to anything else because there is a round pin around the shaft the steering wheel bolts too. i have no idea how to remove this. any help would be greatly appreciated and thanks

You need a service manual to show you how to take it off.

I like the Chilton's manual, it has enough pictures and explanations to get you through. You'll also need the steering wheel lock plate remover tool. The cheap one at the auto parts store is worth its weight in gold right now.

It will save you a cut up hand and some bent screwdrivers!!
